Webster Five’s initial challenge grant of $5,000 was matched with funding from a team of local banks, including Peoples United Bank, Bay State Savings, United Bank and Cornerstone Bank. With match funds in place, Webster Five doubled their original grant to complete this significant donation.
The Bridge Youth Employment Project helps participants to identify their individual skills and strengths, develop interviewing skills, conduct job searches, and complete job applications when needed. These supports are vital for youth and young adults coping with mental health issues, who often face significant barriers in their search for employment.
Donald F. Doyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Webster Five, notes, “The Bridge of Central Massachusetts continues to have such a positive impact on the local community and we are truly honored to contribute to an organization that is making such a difference.”
We’re grateful for Webster Five’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for all youth – no matter what difficulties they may face – to succeed in school, at work and beyond.
