Alternatives Unlimited and The Bridge of Central Massachusetts have rebranded about three months after the two human service providers decided to affiliate with one another.
The two entities are now known as Open Sky Community Services.
The agencies announced the rebranding, along with their new blue and green logo, on Wednesday, the day they celebrated with a staff event at Wachusett Mountain. The now joined nonprofits worked with staff, board members and Sturbridge’s Idea Agency, now part of Pannos Marketing of New Hampshire, on the new branding.
“Everything about the look and feel of the brand is about limitless potential,” Ken Bates, the CEO of Open Sky Community Services, said in a statement. “That speaks to the heart of what Open Sky Community Services does as a high quality health and human services organization seeking to inspire and support people in living their best lives.”
Open Sky Community Services, which is based in Worcester, has more than 100 programs across Central Massachusetts and a workforce of 1,200.
Alternatives, which was based in Whitinsville, was known for its psychiatric rehabilitation approach and a strong focus on helping people create homes, jobs, and relationships, the company said in the statement, while The Bridge was known for providing evidence-based treatments and services. The two merged operations on July 1.
