Open Sky Community Services Appoints New Vice Presidents of Behavioral Health Services and Information Technology
(Worcester, MA – November 21, 2019)
Open Sky Community Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Medeiros as its Vice President of Behavioral Health Services, and Matt Sanford as its Vice President of Information Technology.
“We are fortunate to have leaders of Susan’s and Matt’s caliber step into these roles,” said Ken Bates, President and CEO of Open Sky.
In July, Open Sky announced the promotion of Erica Robert to Senior Vice President of Community Services. Medeiros will now step into Robert’s previous role as Vice President of Behavioral Services.
Medeiros, who holds an M.A. in rehabilitation counseling from Assumption College, brings with her nearly 25 years of progressive experience working in private and public mental health organizations. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Services for Chesterfield Community Support Services in Chesterfield, Virginia. Her areas of expertise include trauma informed systems, jail-based clinical services and integrated healthcare.
Sanford steps into a newly created position at Open Sky as the Vice President of Information Technology. Sanford, a former U.S. Marine, brings more than 20 years of IT experience, mostly in healthcare. He comes to Open Sky after more than a decade as Director of Information Technology at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center. While there, Sanford successfully restructured the IT department to better meet the growing needs of the health center.
