The health and welfare of the individuals and families we support and that of our staff is always of the utmost importance at Open Sky. With the news about COVID-19, the coronavirus is everywhere in the media, I wanted to let people know what steps we are taking as an organization to help keep members of the Open Sky community safe.

At the present time we are in the process of making plans to help ensure the safety of everyone, while adhering to the recommendations of the experts, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our state / local health departments. To that end, we have convened an internal coronavirus task force that will be reviewing all of the available information and making recommendations for further action.

Although COVID-19 has been reported in Massachusetts, the risk of infection is still considered low. We are following the situation closely, and will update our constituents regularly with information from reliable sources, such as the CDC.

Through education and the implementation of best practice guidelines, there are things we can all do to stop or slow the spread of COVID-19 right now. Please see these documents, previously emailed to all of our employees, with preventative measures you can take to lessen the chance of infection.

Thank you,

Ken
