Good morning, this past week we have witnessed events unfolding surrounding the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota while in custody of the Minneapolis police.  The events have had a significant impact on all of us…our employees, the people we support and on our community.  His death and the aftermath highlight for us that racism continues to permeate our country and our communities.  There is much that we must do to end racism and strengthen our communities.

Open Sky is built on a foundation of strong community relationships and values of inclusion, opportunity, diversity and justice.  For decades we have dedicated ourselves to create “safe spaces” for ALL people in our community and now more than ever we must stay together to support one another and strive to do better.

If you have thoughts you would like to share with me I welcome the opportunity to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Ken
