WHITINSVILLE, MA — A mural at an Open Sky family services center in Whitinsville completed last week is the result of a collaboration between a muralist and the nonprofit’s clients.
The new mural at the Alternatives’ Whitin Mill was designed by muralist Ben Jundanian, who used input and assistance from individuals and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Open Sky’s Family Support Center.
Apart from suggesting ideas for the mural, the public and Open Sky staff picked up paintbrushes to help fill in the mural.
Open Sky Community Services is based in Worcester and operates programs throughout Central Massachusetts. Learn more at openskycs.org
