UXBRIDGE, MASS. – Open Sky Community Services and the Blackstone River Watershed Association are excited to co-host the 11th Annual Family Fun Fishing Day at Riverbend Farm in Uxbridge along with the Blackstone River National Heritage Corridor Volunteers-in-Parks Program, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation, and the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday May 16th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, May 17th. Fishing will take place until 1 p.m. with awards at 1:30 p.m. There will be activities for the whole family, and food and ice cream will be available for purchase. All ages and ability levels welcome. Fishing poles, bait and instruction will be available with pre-registration and participants are welcome to bring their own.

Pre-registration will open April 15 at openskycs.org/fishingday2026. This is a FREE event, but pre-registration is required. Please contact Michelle Benjamin with any questions at michelle.benjamin@openskycs.org

Volunteers are also needed to help with set up, break down, manning tables, and assisting at fishing stations. Sign up to volunteer at openskycs.org/fishingvolunteers.
