Card to Culture

The Singh Performance Center participates in the Card to Culture program and offers a $5 flat rate ticket price to EBT, WIC and ConnectorCare cardholders and their families. See below for more information.

ValleyCAST is proud to participate in the Card to Culture program by extending Singh Performance Center ticket discounts to EBTWIC and ConnectorCare health plan insurance cardholders.

The Card to Culture program is a partnership among the EOHHS Departments of Transitional Assistance and Public Health, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and the Mass Cultural Council. The program seeks to ensure the State’s cultural and educational experiences are accessible to everyone.

EBT cardholders may purchase Singh Performance Center tickets for $5.00 each (flat rate tickets) for up to 4 family members per cardholder (including cardholder). A collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services' Department of Trasitional Assistance. See the full list of participating organizations.

WIC cardholders may purchase Singh Performance Center tickets for $5.00 each (flat rate tickets) for up to 4 family members per cardholder (including cardholder). A collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of public Health's WIC. See the full list of participating organizations.

ConnectorCare cardholders may purchase Singh Performance Center tickets for $5.00 each (flat rate tickets) for up to 4 family members per cardholder (including cardholder). A collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Health Connector. See the full list of participating organizations.


How it works: 

  • Card holders must present their card in person to receive the Card to Culture $5 ticket price

  • Tickets purchased in advance will be held at the door for pick up by the card holder upon entrance to the performance. The card holder must present their card when picking up tickets.

  • Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold or given as gifts.

  • The card holder must attend the performance and must present their card when entering the Singh.
     

What is an EBT card?
With an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card families can access Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Benefits, Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC), and Emergency Aid to the Elderly, Disabled, and Children (EAEDC), also known as cash benefits. 

What is the WIC Program?
The Women and Children (WIC) nutrition program provides healther foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and other services, free of charge, to Massachusetts families who qualify.

What is ConnectorCare?
ConnectorCare offers affordable, high-quality coverage from the Health Connector. Plans have $0 or low monthly prmiums, low out-of-pocket costs, and no deductibles.
