Meet the ValleyCAST Team

Nikki Erskine joined Open Sky as the Director of ValleyCAST in April 2026. With a multi-faceted background in marketing and arts administration, she has spent over 20 years supporting independent artists and building community-based cultural initiatives. When she isn’t managing arts programs, she can be found soaking up sunshine from a hammock or boat, watching wildlife, and exploring other creative and cultural offerings. Indoors, she enjoys video games and comedy under the close supervision of her dog and two cats, who believe her life purpose is serving as their personal furniture. Nikki looks forward to collaborating with local partners and creators to further sustain and expand the region’s diverse cultural opportunities.

David Wolfe brings nearly a decade of non-profit experience as a graphic designer and communications specialist to Open Sky as the ValleyCAST Coordinator. Helping organizations tell meaningful stories through design, video, and live media has always been at the core of his work. Outside of the office, David is equally at home with a camera at an underground music show, gaming on the couch with his wife, or getting lost in a good book. He’s excited to utilize those skills to connect the community with the arts.
