Daft Theater – “Seven Keys to Baldpate”

A comic mystery. Set in the 1930s, pulp writer Magee makes a bet with his sister, Mrs. Bentley, that he can write a sellable novel in 24 hours. With a large sum of money involved, Magee insists on doing his writing in an isolated place where no one will bother him. Mrs. Bentley owns the summer resort, Baldpate Inn, which is empty during the winter. Magee settles in expecting an easy night of writing. No such luck. One by one, sinister characters possessing a key to the inn turns Magee’s night into one of confusion, excitement and murder!
