ValleyCAST kicks off our Community Flowcase this week! We’re excited to present this virtual arts exhibition that celebrates the creative process and how it can support mental health and wellbeing. We will showcase creative practices and offerings from a variety of artists whose work embodies a state of flow. Through videos and images, you will be introduced to musicians, photographers, and visual artists from across the region (and beyond). Our featured Flowcase artists will be announced on our Instagram channel every Friday, kicking off on October 8th as part of Mental Illness Awareness Week.
All of us can tap into a feeling of flow, whether you consider yourself an “Artist” or not! We hope you will be inspired by what’s shared and embrace a sense of flow in your own creative practice.
If you want to share your expressive arts practice for inclusion, we welcome rolling submissions through the end of October. Please be in touch with our Assistant Director of Community Outreach, Michelle Sayles at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your work!
