ValleyCAST is hosting monthly themed art challenges!
Each month we will announce a theme to inspire you to create artwork! A virtual art gallery will be released showcasing the community artwork.
August's theme is Garden Critters!
Capture the lively world of garden critters both helpful and mischievous! From buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies to curious frogs, snails, and beetles, gardens are full of tiny wonders. Don't forget the playful garden raiders like birds, rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks who sneak in to nibble on leaves and steal berries! Whether real, whimsical, or entirely imagined, bring these fascinating garden dwellers into focus through any medium you choose. Photograph, draw, paint, sculpt, collage, the choice is up to you!
Submit your artwork
Send us a photo of your creations by Sunday, August 24th for inclusion in the virtual gallery.
Submissions can be emailed to Mary.laliberte@openskycs.org
Limit of 5 submissions per person
You will receive a confirmation email once your entry has been received and a follow up email when the virtual gallery is released
Submission Details
Please include a name for artists credit
A title for your artwork can be included but is not required
Include an Instagram username to be tagged
Virtual Gallery Information
Photo submissions will be posted on the ValleyCAST social media platforms as a virtual gallery. Your artwork will be available to view on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram!
