About the Class
In these classes you will learn the basics of weaving on a floor loom while creating a freestyle weaving piece. In this method there are no mistakes, only beautiful discoveries of your artistic expression. Students will learn the parts of the loom, different weaving styles, be shown how to incorporate a variation design technique and use a variety of materials. Each one-of-a-kind weaving piece will include different yarns, threads, objects like jewelry or buttons and natural items that you find outdoors. By the end of the class series, you will finish a project that will be uniquely yours!
Weaving Class Series are held every month!
Thursdays from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
November Class Series: November 6, 13, 20
December Class Series: December 4, 11, 18
Cost
$50 Per Person for a Two Session Class Series
$75 Per Person for a Three Session Class Series
About the Instructor
Anita has a passion for teaching both kids and adults. She is drawn to creative activities and has several hobbies including sewing clothing, weaving, quilting, painting, calligraphy and more!
Registration is required as space for the class is limited!
