ValleyCAST welcomes the Whitinsville Downtown Crossroads Historic District Commission for their Inaugural Northbridge Heritage Day on the Town Common and beyond on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:30am-3:30pm.
Bring the whole family to the Whitinsville Town Common for a day full of tours, reenactments, and activities for all ages celebrating the 250 Year History of the Downtown Crossroads Historic District. And it’s all FREE!
Highlights include: Tours and activities at the Downtown Crossing historic properties, scavenger hunts and gifts for kids, Caribbean Press Food Truck, Beer Garden by Murder Hill Brewery, Refreshments by Twizted Beverages, Blacksmithing demonstrations at the Whitin Mill Old Forge, Loom Weaving at the Fletcher House.
Events for all ages during extended hours at the Whitinsville Social Library in the children's room, the teen-tween room, and on the front lawn.
Events at the Alternatives' Whitin Mill include screenings thoughout the day of the movie Whitin in the Singh Performance Center, tours of the Heritage Gallery exhibit Celebrating Neurodiversity, blacksmith demonstrations on the plaza, Heritage Panels on the plaza, and tours of the Whitin Mill Forge where the American Industrial Revolution all began.
