New Appointments at The Bridge of Central Mass.

 

      

Earle Leitch, Director of Developmental Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services

Earle Leitch has been promoted to Director of Developmental Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services of The Bridge of Central Massachusetts.  In this position, Leitch ensures all division programs are in compliance with contract, licensing and local building code regulations, and that the individuals served have resources and supports to live as independently as possible in the community.   Previous to this appointment, Leitch was a Division Director of Developmental Disability Services at The Bridge.  Over the past 15 years, Leitch served as a therapist, program supervisor, and habilitation counselor in Virginia and New York human service agencies.

Leitch holds a Master of Science in Administration and a Bachelor of Professional Studies (Human Services) from the Metropolitan College of New York.  He completed the coursework toward being a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) from Rutgers University, and is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work (MSW).  A native of Guyana, South America, Leitch came to the United States in 1993 for personal and professional reasons.  Leitch noted that he has been impressed with The Bridge’s approach to human services.  “At The Bridge there is a synergy between clinical driven services and innovative management approaches.  It’s very rare when you find that combination.”

 

 

Heidi M. Landers, MHA, BSN, Director of Nursing

Heidi M. Landers accepted the position of Director of Nursing at The Bridge of Central Massachusetts in September, 2015.    In this position, Landers oversees the nursing department to ensure the individuals supported receive high quality of nursing care.   In addition, she is responsible for The Bridge’s Health and Wellness Initiative for individuals and the staff.  Her long-term goal is to increase the size and visibility of the nursing staff within the programs, and assist with community resources and outreach in all the Bridge programs.

A Barre, MA resident, Landers has her Masters in Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She brings several years of home health care, management and leadership to The Bridge of Central Massachusetts.

 

Rebecca Lynch, Manager of Development and Marketing

Rebecca Lynch joined The Bridge’s development office in September, 2015 as the Manager of Development and Marketing.  In this position, she manages fundraising publication materials, The Bridge’s website and social media, and the donor database.  Prior to joining The Bridge, she worked in the development offices of the Natick Visiting Nurse Association and The Price Center, Newton MA.  She started her career as a business development specialist, finding jobs for individuals with disabilities.  She founded Heated Lions Enterprises, a nonprofit organization that provides recreational opportunities for teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Metro West area.  She holds a Master of Arts degree from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College.
