Open Sky Community Services Appoints New Senior Vice President

Erica Robert uses two decades of experience to strengthen community services

(Worcester, MA – July 25, 2019) Open Sky Community Services has announced its new Senior Vice President of Community Services, Erica Robert. Open Sky provides services for adults, young adults, and youth with mental challenges, developmental disabilities, brain injury, substance abuse disorders, homelessness or other complex challenges. Robert will be responsible for overseeing more than 100 programs and approximately 2,000 individuals per year. 

“My goals in this new position include ensuring that we provide excellent services, support our staff teams, work towards common goals, and make decisions in consideration of the needs of our individuals and programs,” said Robert.

Open Sky Community Services is an affiliation of The Bridge of Central Massachusetts and Alternatives Unlimited, Inc., which came together in 2018. Robert previously served as Vice President of Community Services at The Bridge of Central Massachusetts and has been with the agency for 22 years.  She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (UConn School of Social Work), a Certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor, and has a certificate in Quality Behavioral Competencies as a coach for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.

Prior to her appointment, Robert served as Vice President of Mental Health Services at Open Sky. Among other accomplishments, she was instrumental in developing and implementing Adult Community Clinical Services across three Department of Mental Health-funded projects in Central Massachusetts, and led the process to open two new Department of Mental Health-funded respite programs.
