Community Residences and Group Homes
Community residences are small homes for four to five adults, located in comfortable neighborhood settings. These homes offer:
- Daily living skill development
- Support for individuals with medical needs or who benefit from closer supervision
- Fully accessible spaces
- Help with personal care and nutrition needs
- A family‑like environment with opportunities for growth and independence
Shared Living
Shared Living allows an individual to live with a carefully selected host family. This model provides:
- A stable, caring home environment
- Help building relationships and community connections
- Support with daily routines, skill development, and personal goals
- Access to Open Sky’s nurses and service coordinators for additional guidance
Supported Living
Supported Living helps adults live in their own apartments.
Services include:
- Regular visits from trained service coordinators
- Skill‑building for independent living (cooking, budgeting, scheduling, safety, etc.)
- Support with community involvement and building friendships
- Flexible schedules tailored to the individual’s needs
