M.O.R.E. is a community-based support program designed to empower mothers and caregivers through connection, healing, peer support, advocacy, and access to critical resources.
Our mission is to empower mothers and caregivers by fostering connection, promoting healing, strengthening families, and bridging the gap to essential resources so that no mother or caregiver feels alone in her journey.
A note from Maria Torres, Founder of M.O.R.E.
I am in the process of becoming a Certified Life Coach, which will further strengthen my ability to support mothers and caregivers with goal setting, personal growth, empowerment, self-sufficiency, and navigating major life transitions.
I look forward to incorporating these additional skills into the continued growth and development of M.O.R.E.

Why MORE Matters
Supporting a mother means supporting an entire family.
Many mothers and caregivers are navigating complex challenges while continuing to care for their children and families. Some are grieving, recovering from trauma, working toward recovery, experiencing pregnancy or postpartum changes, facing housing instability, or trying to protect and support children involved in high-risk situations.
M.O.R.E. provides a space where mothers and caregivers do not have to navigate these experiences alone. Through peer connection, healing, empowerment, advocacy, and access to resources, we work to strengthen mothers so they can continue strengthening their families.
When mothers heal, families become stronger.
When families become stronger, our communities become stronger.
