It was wonderful to see hundreds of people on the Plaza at the Whitin Mill again to raise funds in support of the people we serve while enjoying a day of exercise, terrific music and entertainment, good food and great conversations.
Best of all, the event raised more than $133,000 in support of the critical services Open Sky provides.
New to the Tour? Let us tell you about about this wonderful event.
All proceeds from the Tour fund essential programs at Open Sky. By coming together with others, Tour sponsors and participants are helping to ensure the youth, young adults, and families Open Sky serves will have the support they need to build fulfilling lives.
Participants are invited to walk, jog or pedal through the Blackstone Valley on one of three non-competitive routes: a Golden Mile walk, a 5K walk/run and a 30 Mile cycling option. The choice of routes means that people of all ages and abilities, those with and without disabilities, are able to come together as equal participants. All routes begin and end at the Alternatives Whitin Mill in Whitinsville, MA, where participants come together to enjoy lunch, live entertainment, raffles and child-friendly activities.
