EBPs have been shown to be significantly more effective than “treatments as usual.” EBPs tend to be highly structured, manualized treatments that emphasize skills training in a context of compassionate support.

The Bridge Training Institute offers continuing education workshops and personalized consultation services that focus on evidence-based and best practice treatment models. Our training and consultation services are tailored to meet the needs of schools, human service professionals and licensed clinicians. You will always come away with tools that you can put into practice the next day. Illness Management Recovery and other consultations are available for professionals.
CIT-TTAC
Open Sky is home to the Central Mass Crisis Intervention Team Training and Technical Assistance Center, which has provided training and support for hundreds of law enforcement officers, dispatch personnel, and first responders since 2021.
The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training program was established in Memphis, TN, in 1988 by Major Sam Cochran(ret.), along with the Memphis Police Department, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), University of Memphis, University of Tennessee, and mental health providers.

Trauma Response Services
Open Sky is a contracted provider of the Riverside Trauma Network, lead agency for Trauma Response to Massachusetts schools. Open Sky’s Trauma Response Services are funded by the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Public Health. Services to schools and communities are provided at NO COST.
