Spaulding R. Aldrich Heritage Gallery, 50 Douglas Road, Whitinsville, MA
Join ValleyCAST on Thursday, June 29, from 5:00-8:00 PM for the opening of our Weaving Community exhibit & our Kick-Off Concert for the Free Summer Concert Series.
Please plan to attend and bring your friends and family for a fantastic FREE night of art, music and community!
Don't just stand there and look, TOUCH & DO! Try your hand at weaving in our Heritage Gallery. We will have interactive displays and looms set-up and ready for you to try your hand at weaving. Nervous? Don't be! It's super easy and really fun and we'll have people on hand who can help you to try it out.
We will also have examples of weaving on exhibit by local artists and weaving organizations in the gallery at the same time, which you won't be able to touch, but can examine at length and read about. Learn about loom weaving, basket weaving, circle weaving and more! See below for participating artists and organizations. Check back often as we add more information about this fantastic community event and celebration! This event takes place rain or shine! Check out the workshops offered in conjunction with this exhibit below!
